As a life-long resident of Omaha, Doug Lebbert has been serving the financial needs of his customers for over 35 years. He has been the Assistant Branch Manager/Vice President of the Omaha branch of Lincoln Federal Savings Bank for the past 21 years. "Interacting with my customers is perhaps the most rewarding aspect of my job," says Doug.
When he graduated from Wayne State College, Doug wasn't sure what his career path might be, but after starting as a teller in a bank, he knew banking was a really good fit. Servicing customers, opening new accounts, originating consumer loans, answering questions from his customers, and the day-to-day branch operations keeps his agenda full and challenging. "Knowing that I have helped a customer resolve a financial concern is just one of the many reasons why I love my work," adds Doug.
The Omaha branch of Lincoln Federal Savings Bank participates in community projects when opportunities are presented. One event near and dear to Doug's heart on a very personal level is Omaha's annual Multiple Sclerosis Walk which he has been involved with for many years.
In his personal life, Doug enjoys Nebraska and Creighton sports. His 11 nieces and nephews, and five great-nieces and nephews fill up the rest of his free time!
