The Commercial Loan Originator will focus on sourcing, developing, and closing commercial loan opportunities for businesses. This employee’s primary responsibility is to generate new business for the Bank while maintaining client relationships and ensuring compliance with lending policies.
Essential Functions:
- Identify and prospect new commercial loan clients through networking, referrals, and outreach efforts.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve loan origination targets.
- Build strong relationships with local businesses, real estate professionals, and other key referral sources.
- Meet with potential clients to understand their financing needs and present appropriate loan products.
- Guide clients through the loan application process, explaining terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with underwriters and credit analysts to structure loan terms that meet the client’s needs and align with the Bank’s policies.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and economic conditions affecting commercial lending.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or related field.
