Education/Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of banking experience and/or retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to proactively solicit new business.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong background in sales and sales management practices
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Ability to coordinate the care and maintenance of the office facility.

Commercial Loan Originator

The Commercial Loan Originator will focus on sourcing, developing, and closing commercial loan opportunities for businesses. This employee’s primary responsibility is to generate new business for the Bank while maintaining client relationships and ensuring compliance with lending policies.

Essential Functions:

• Identify and prospect new commercial loan clients through networking, referrals, and outreach efforts.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve loan origination targets.
• Build strong relationships with local businesses, real estate professionals, and other key referral sources.
• Meet with potential clients to understand their financing needs and present appropriate loan products.
• Guide clients through the loan application process, explaining terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with underwriters and credit analysts to structure loan terms that meet the client’s needs and align with the Bank’s policies.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and economic conditions affecting commercial lending.
• Identify opportunities for growth in specific industries or regions.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Ensure all loan applications comply with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and submit complete and accurate loan files for approval.
• Maintain detailed records of loan activity and client communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or related field.
• Proven experience in commercial lending, sales, or business development.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, credit principles, and loan structuring.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and commercial lending practices.

The ideal candidate will have excellent sales and communication skills with the ability to take initiative when responding to customer needs. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling customers' day-to-day financial transactions. This position is also responsible for assisting customers in opening accounts and educating them on all the services Lincoln Federal Savings Bank offers to help them reach their financial goals.
