Meet The Lender: Vasili Sakkas

Vasili Sakkas brings nearly two decades of experience to Lincoln Federal Savings Bank. He’s passionate about mortgage lending and helping his customers reach the American dream of homeownership.  

“What I love most about this job is the opportunity to connect with customers and help them achieve their financial goals,” Vasili shared. “It’s incredibly rewarding to be a small part of such important moments in their lives.”

Outside of work, Vasili is dedicated to his family and stays busy supporting his kids’ activities. He’s also active in the community, serving on the church board at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church and directing youth basketball programs that create meaningful experiences for young athletes.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a degree in journalism and English, Vasili has carried his love for learning into every part of his life. Guided by the motto “You control your own happiness,” he brings positivity, perspective, and a strong commitment to service to every customer he works with.
